Development Studies is an interdisciplinary field of teaching and research that takes 'development' as its central concern. It intends to study the improvement in people’s lives through the lens of human development. The course articulates with the 36 unit Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development and the 72 unit Master of Sustainable Development, and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.The course is also available as an exit award from the 36 unit Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development and the 72 unit Master of Sustainable Development, subject to meeting the requirements in the Program of Study below.
