The Graduate Certificate in International Relations requires 0.5 years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). In order to be able to exit with the Graduate Certificate in International Relations students must indicate their intention to not proceed with the primary degree and request that they exit with the Graduate Certificate in International Relations.
